Stay away from CanadaPharmacy.com. My experience with them was horrid
and led to a pretty serious medical problem.

I had ordered Nexium. It's a medication for gastroesophiageal reflux
disease or GERD, manufactured by AstraZenca, that my insurance company
had stopped covering. GERD is not a pleasant condition. It causes an
ulcer in your esophagus that feels like a heart attack. And, if not
treated, can lead to esophagus cancer. For some people, including me,
Nexium is the only medication that effectively prevents the disease
and actually heals damaged esophagus.

Because of the importance of the medication, I chose the much higher-
price brand name purchase from CanadaPharmcy after being assured in a
phone conversation that it was the actual brand-name product.

But that us not what I got. What arrived was a generic, named
"Neksium," manufactured by Glenmark Generics Ltd. based in Goa. In
bold face letters on the package was "FOR SALE IN INDIA AND NEPAL
ONLY."

After repeated phone calls to Canada Pharmacy, they finally admitted
that they could not get the real Nexium and argued with me that, by
their defintion, the generic really was not a generic -- despite the
fact that the manufacturer called itself a "generics" firm.

But I was assured it was exactly the same drug as Nexium. So, I tried
it.

Big, big mistake. In less than two weeks taking the medication, I had
a full-blown case of GERD for the first time in years since I had
started on Nexium. Whatever this drug is, it most definitely is NOT
the ingrediant in Nexium. It took two weeks back on real Nexium for
my esophagus ulcer to be fully healed.

Hi Ripped Off:

Its nice how you targeted 'Canada' instead of your sloppy shopping.

All Canadians have access to real drugs (including Nexium -- which
didn't help me), and they get them very inexpensively *in Canada*.

All you did was visit a web site with the word 'Canada' in it. Where
was this site *really* or where was itr re-directed to), and was it
investigated by the Canadian police (i.e., the RCMP) ?

btw, after Nexium failed for me, I switched to Walmart's store brand
(Equate famotidine) and got this at a 20mg size very cheaply. I quickly
cured an esophageal (sp ?) ulcer. I now take one at bed time each nite.

Good Luck !
